Your message is on the way
At Somatic Psychotherapy, our team is made up of skilled, heart-centered therapists who are deeply trained in body-based, trauma-informed care. We bring warmth, curiosity, and presence to every session—helping you feel safe, seen, and supported as you reconnect with yourself.
Whether you’re seeking individual therapy, couples work, or psychedelic-assisted support, you’ll find a therapist here who meets you with respect, depth, and a belief in your capacity to heal.
We offer consult calls with our founder, Sybil — a chance to connect, ask questions, and get a feel for whether this is the right fit. Cozy up with a cup of tea, settle in, and let’s see if our connection feels right in your body — and if not, we’re always happy to help guide you to the right support.
We begin with a 60-minute intake. After that, sessions are 45 minutes — weekly, online or in-person in Manhattan or Brooklyn. We work gently and at your pace, using our vast somatic therapy toolbox including approaches like Hakomi, IFS, EMDR, and Somatic Experiencing.
As we go deeper, you’ll start noticing changes: a looseness where there was tightness, clarity where there was fog, compassion where there was self-criticism. Together, we’ll celebrate the shifts, integrate what emerges, and keep building your embodied capacity for change.
