all about cora
Hi, I’m Cora, and I believe that growth happens through relationships- within ourselves, between one another, and in community. My background in embodied and artistic practices has shaped how I understand healing: as something that moves within the body, unfolds through connection, and takes the time it needs. I trust that each of us carries an innate capacity to heal, and that even our most painful experiences can hold threads of wisdom and possibility.
I hold deep respect for the ways culture, identity, and power shape our inner worlds, and I’m committed to creating a space that is LGBTQ+ affirming, anti-racist, and grounded in a Health at Every Size (HAES) perspective. Above all, I strive to offer a space where every part of you is welcome and where healing can unfold at its own pace.
how I work
My approach is psychodynamic and somatic, guided by curiosity and building trust. Therapy, to me, is a creative and deeply human practice—an art of listening, feeling, and making meaning together. In our work, we’ll pay attention not only to your thoughts and stories, but also to the subtler language of the body and emotions—the quiet signals that often carry what words can’t.
Rather than offering quick fixes, I aim to help you understand yourself with more compassion and curiosity. Together, we’ll explore how early experiences and protective patterns live in the present—not to dwell on the past, but to open space for new ways of being with yourself and others.
In session, I bring warmth, humor, and grounded presence. I don’t see myself as an expert who has the answers, but as a companion in the process—someone who helps you slow down enough to listen for what’s being experienced beneath the surface. My hope is that our work becomes a place of safety and aliveness, where even pain can begin to transform into insight, meaning, and possibility.

Creating inconveniently large paintings, sharing meals with friends, researching herbalist practices, or scheming my next chance to be near the ocean.
When I’m not in the therapist chair, you can probably find me:
warm beverages, honest conversations, wind.
Three things that keep me grounded:
make coffee and open a window.
Every morning, I:
Extroverted introvert!
Introvert or Extravert?
