Somatic Psychotherapy is a boutique group practice with offices in Brooklyn and Manhattan, supporting clients who want to move beyond insight alone. Our therapists integrate mindfulness, somatic awareness, and trauma-informed care to help people heal from anxiety, relational trauma, grief, burnout, and life transitions. We work slowly, collaboratively, and with deep respect for each person’s inner wisdom.
For MSW and MHC graduate students
(second-year or advanced standing)
Our Advanced Clinical Internship Program is designed for graduate students who are ready to deepen their training through a somatic, trauma-informed lens. Interns gain direct clinical experience, weekly supervision, group consultation, and exposure to body-based modalities that go beyond talk therapy.
This is a great opportunity if you're curious about a future in private practice and want meaningful mentorship in a setting that prioritizes your learning and growth.
Weekly individual supervision and bi-weekly group consultation
Training in somatic approaches and trauma-informed care
A supportive, team-based culture that values curiosity, presence, and purpose
