all about Jade
Hello and welcome! My name is Jade, and my journey into this field began with a curiosity—a deep wonder about the meaning behind our behavior.
Early on, I explored biology and psychology but sensed there was something missing. I opted for another path until life circumstances eventually led me back. This time, I arrived in awe—at the crossroads of where I began—fascinated by the integrated study of biopsychology. This mind-body connection was the essence of everything I had been seeking.
As I expanded my understanding of trauma—to include developmental, relational, and cultural experiences—my perspective of the world changed. I began to see masked pain, overwhelming fear, and internal blocks to love and connection at the root of so much suffering. I now work with meaningful intention to offer the healing relational experience we all so deeply deserve—one rooted in acceptance, compassion, empowerment, and a heartfelt belief in our human potential.
how I work
My priority, beyond any technique, is the therapeutic relationship. A new relational experience can offer a healing power of its own. Further, as we build safety in connection, we support the nervous system, allowing space to process and release difficult emotions.
Therapy will begin by getting to know you and your goals, then exploring what you’d like to deepen into or change. My interventions will be collaboratively guided to support and empower you on your healing journey. Options may include experimenting with somatic resources, uncovering context for your adaptations, engaging your inner child/parts, or attuning to experiences beneath your words to invite insight and transformation to emerge. When positive shifts arise, we can name and savor these to promote integration and expansion. Since traumatic memory is unique, we can use Sensorimotor Psychotherapy to focus on resolving the somatic response, helping you to reclaim your felt sense of power. If a part of you ever feels hesitation or fear, we pause and listen—always allowing your internal wisdom to be the guide.
Overall, my approach is trauma-informed and rooted in relational healing, somatic therapy, and inner child/parts work. I aim to offer genuine presence and care as you move toward your deepest knowings, your truest self, and all that is waiting to be healed—always at the pace that feels right for you.

What inspired me to become a therapist
deepening my knowledge of psychology, spending time in nature with my Doberman, or catching up on Grey’s Anatomy and Chicago Med.
When I’m not in the therapist chair, you can probably find me:
all things warm, my pets, and solitude.
Three things that keep me grounded:
Most definitely an introvert!
