all about sierra

Hi, I’m Sierra and I’m so glad you’re here. Whether this is your first step into therapy or you’ve been on this path before, finding the right therapist can feel vulnerable and uncertain. I hold it as my responsibility to meet each person in their wholeness, and my hope is that when you arrive here, you feel space to breathe. I’m a mother, daughter, partner, sister and friend with roots in yoga, meditation, and art. I see growth as an upward spiral. Each transition invites reflection, recalibration, with the possibility of renewal and rebirth.

Therapy is a place where we can slow down together and gently notice what is present—persistent thoughts, overwhelming emotions, and the subtle signals of the body, where pain is often held, your deeper wisdom is found, and where healing occurs.

how I work

My practice is grounded in Gestalt therapy, meaning we stay close to what is happening in the here and now, using our relationship as a space to deepen awareness, understanding and connection. I take an integrative approach, weaving together mindfulness, somatic awareness, and parts work (IFS) to support a more connected relationship with your inner world.

I invite you to come exactly as you are—complex, messy, and fully human. Together, we create a compassionate, nonjudgmental space where nothing needs to be hidden or rushed. This is a collaborative process guided by your pace, where we gently explore your thoughts, emotions, and the language of your body, building a shared awareness. From there, we deepen through sensation and felt experience, cultivating the grounding needed to approach more tender places.

Over time, this awareness will create choice and the ability to respond with greater intention and care. This work is about expanding your capacity, building resilience, and returning - again and again - to a deeper sense of home within your body.

If you are a mother, especially a new mother, I see you. The postpartum period can bring profound shifts within your body, your identity, and your nervous system. You may feel overwhelmed, untethered, or unlike yourself, while also holding deep love and responsibility. Whether you are seeking validation, support, tools to regulate, or space to process and tell your story, you are welcome here. This is a place to tend to both the visible and invisible parts of motherhood.
